Holiday Inn Express Hotel

When I checked in a credit card was required for a $35.00 incidental fee. They charged my card $39.98 for damage to toilet. I never touched it.
I was dropping off military personnel and since I am a charter bus operator I had to clear hours. Even though I spent the night I never raised or lowered the toilet seat. On my trip home I received a phone call from the desk clerk reference the damage. She stated they had photographic proof. I asked did they have photographs prior to my check in and they do not. The manager stated the maintenance crew supervisor does a visual inspection every day and did not notice any damage prior to my arrival. And since I had my credit card for, "Incidentals" on file, they would debit my card for repairs.
