In regards to the complaint by Ms*** ***, I did speak to Ms*** in regards to the disputed amount of $110.00. This was not a charge, but an authorization on her card. When we charged her card for her stay, the authorization gets released from our system and it’s all on her
bank at that point as to when they release authorizations. I called Ms*** to try to resolve this matter with her. I asked her for the number on the back of her credit card (*** and I conference her in when I called ***, since they will not talk to me without the guest on the line. I gave all the information to *** and told them to release the funds back to Ms*** and indicated, it was done. Right before we hang up, I asked if the funds are available right away for Ms*** and the *** rep said yes. Today, we received the letter of complaint. I called Ms***, but she did not answer, so I left a voicemail for her to call me back. I’m yet to hear from her. Please let me know if you have any questions

Since my original complaint, the Holiday Inn sent me a partial refund for $120 due to the problems we experienced at their hotel. Plus, they issued 5000 in points to my Holiday Inn card. This resolution is fine with me.
