Stating I have a balance and will not release transcripts. I withdrew and was covered by financial aid and loans during my enrollment. No balance due.
I have made several attempts to rectify this situation to no avail. I do not owe Hodges University and money due to the fact that I withdrew. During my enrollment I was covered by financial aid and student loans. I need my transcripts and they are refusing to release them stating a balance is due. When I inquired what the balance was for the business office did not have an answer. They ignore my emails and phone calls. This situation has left me no choice but to file a formal complaint.
Remove the balance and release my transcripts so I am able to obtain gainful employment.
Hodges University has reviewed the customer's complaint and any relevant records. The University believes that the customer's stated complaints are without merit, but declines to provide supporting documentation on this public website in order to protect the customer's personal information and to ensure fidelity with FERPA requirements.
The University's Office of Student Financial Services can provide the customer with any relevant financial records that may pertain. The customer would need to initiate contact with that office and can do so by emailing the director at ***@hodges.edu.
However, the University will voluntarily release one official copy of the customer's transcript to the customer, free of charge and upon request. The customer would need to formally initiate the request with the Office of the Registrar and can do so by emailing ***@hodges.edu. The customer will be required to execute the standard documentation necessary for releasing the transcript, as it is a formal academic record.
We trust this good-faith offer to be both a satisfactory and complete resolution.
