Review: My name is [redacted] and I have the power of attorney for my 94 year old mother, [redacted]. [redacted]. A sportneb express portable nebulizer unit was purchased through Green Bay Home Medical Equipment for [redacted] in 2010. The unit was to come with a 5 year warranty. After having a problem with the switch on the unit for some time, I finally presented the unit for repair to Green Bay Home Medical Equipment on 9/10/2013. First they tried to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the switch. Upon showing them the problem they decided to take a closer look at it. After their inspection, I was told that they would not honor the warranty because someone had been smoking in the home and that I had signed paperwork that the warranty was void if there was anyone smoking in the home. I informed them that no one had smoked in my mothers home since the 1960's.
Even if there was the case of smoking in the home, the manufacturers website does not mention this exclusion in any way, and such a statement by either Green Bay Home Medical Equipment or by the manufacturer would constitute a discrimination issue.Desired Settlement: Green Bay Home Medical Equipment should stand behind the manufacturer 5 year warranty and either repair or replace the item. The purchaser does not recall signing any paperwork that would limit the warranty of this item.

The service at this store is terrible. The staff lies frequently. They don't care how long they make you wait. Today, I called the store about compression stockings. The person I spoke to lied and told me it had to go through Medicare and then Medicaid before I could get it.
This is completely untrue. I called the company who produces this product and the company told me I don't even need a prescription. Every time I deal with HME on Riverside Dr. in Green Bay, it is disgusting.
