Review: Had an engine rebuilt. HJK said they would not guarentee the work unless they did the initial start up and tune. I finished installing the engine into my boat and called to find HJK out of business.Now what? I started to look into starting it myself to find dirt in the top of the heads, rocker alignment all off, dirty used push rods installed, 7.5qts. in a 9qt. pan, charged for new rods and 14qts of oil.Desired Settlement: I would like to clean up what I can buy and install new push rods and adjustable guide plates then have the owner start and tune to cover warente. If he is unable to do the initial start I can do it but I need the bearing and piston wall clearances, and still want coverage. This business is or was insured and bonded.
