This company did an excellent job replacing roofs on three structures The workers on the roof were friendly and professional I would recommend Hippo for anyone

The initial wait for the start of the roof seemed long, but, oh! Hippo Roofing failed to install a roof capable of passing inspection with the Building Department
Contracted Hippo Roofing to install a metal hurricane resistance roof on home The roof was financed for $27,to be made in two payments half pre-construction and the remainder upon completion Construction started and other then a language issue (my Spanish is rusty) things went smooth and I was pleased with the work on 03/08/Hippo roofing filed for final payment however the roof was not completed until 03/09/and inspected on 03/12/at which point it failed inspection I notified Hippo Roofing of the failed inspection the same day it failed, several days later I went to their office and voiced my concerns in person Upon visiting the building department and speaking with a inspector I discovered that the amount of screws and the screw pattern on the plans submitted by Hippo Roofing did not match To pass inspection additional screws needed to be added to the roof to

Waiting, waiting, waiting for a call back for roof repairsRoof only 1/years old and need ridge pieces replacedEven have spare pieces left over from the original installPoor customer service after the job is doneHad to call them out for roof leaks twice after a full new roof installMaybe they have too many calls for roof repairs that they can't keep up

months after giving a down payment of $14k, Hippo finally gets in touch with me about when they'll be putting my roof onOnce they started it took weeks to completeIn what world does it take weeks to complete a square roof?
Hippo damaged the sheetrock in all of my skylights (was practically destroyed)They also damaged my front gutterWhen their Installation Manager Jose went into my attic to check on a leak, he stepped through the ceiling in my garage, leaving a basketball-size holeNow that they "finished" the roof weeks ago, I still have all the sheetrock damage, a damaged gutter, a crooked skylight, and a metal panel without one single screw in it!
Hippo's sheetrock guys came out to inspect the damage and said it would take days to fix, but will look good as new and all textures will matchThey said they'd come the following week - they never did
Meanwhile, their salesperson Aggi calls me and says she's stopping by for final payment "now that the job is complete"She was fully aware of all the damage, and had even taken pictures of the sheetrock damage around the skylights
When Aggi showed up for the payment, I showed her the damage - again, and expressed my complete displeasureShe tried to say I could keep $1k as "leverage" for the work to be completedI told her absolutely not; right now I have $13k+ leverage and I'm getting blown offThey're not getting a dime until the job is complete to my satisfactionShe left empty handed
Later that day she called to tell me she found a "handyman" to fix the issues (a friend of hers maybe?)I just spoke to the "handyman", Aggi never told him about the sheetrock damage
Hiring Hippo was a huge mistake

poor customer services , will not return phone calls and don't seemed to be concerned about leaks and damage after full payment recieved
house leaked right after they received final july payment one week after the job was completed.had to beg them to stop by as it was raining every daythey had to return again as it didn't fix the leak, said they would repair the inside damage now they don't call back and will not give me a time line as to when repairs will be done and now we have mold growing still they don't seem like they care I call every day leave my name and number and no one calls me backtotal price on the roof 12,paid 1/down then in full when completedsales rep meridith o***

We used Restoration to restore our business after we experienced fire and water damage - the majority of the damage done by waterThey worked very quickly and began the restoration process on the same day of the incident which was a holiday weekendGuy, the owner / manager, was often present to oversee the work being doneRegardless of speaking with Guy or his workers, they were always open to hearing our input and made changes as askedTiming was important as we need our business to remain open during business hours and Restoration was reasonably flexibleOverall the work was great, the team was helpful and they got the job done right

Very knowledgable, attentive, helpful, and straightforward I could not have asked for a better experience or better support in acquiring an estimateWe will have to wait for the estimate, but if it is at all close to the others I will definitely be signing with Hippo My project coordinator was just absolutley the bestI knew my roof had issues because I had already done my homework, and she took the time to explain how HIPPO would resolve each of the issues (mostly code concerns from the previously installed roof) She not only knows the local and federal codes, but she knows what works and doesn't work in this geographic area, and she took the time to explain that to me I grew up in the midwest and I have learned through experience that what works up there does not necessarily work or last as long down here on the space coast, so it was good to hear that they were already on top of that too I will post again if we move forward with this company to replace the roof
