I have attached the signed contract and signature verification for this job. It contains no estimate to perform any work associated with base boards. It shows the signature of both the customer and my salesman. The verification form shows the dates and times of acceptance of this
contract through a third party vendor system. That is actually a trim carpenters job and not the scope of work that Hillside Floor Covering does. For most carpet installations the base is typically installed before we do the installation of the carpet, however this is not required. In any case, these written contracts exist to avoid any misunderstandings between our business and consumers. I never like to see an unhappy customer, but this was not and is not a part of our contract or scope of work.
