Hillen's Coast TV

Review: I took my TV to the repair shop on May 27. Paid $120.00 for repair and was told he knew what was wrong and it would be fixed in two to three days. I stopped by on Monday, June 2, and was told the problem was difficult and it would be another two or three days. It is now June 14 and I still have not heard from the shop and am out $120. He has not returned my TV nor my money nor repaired the TV set.

You can cancel complaint. The business owner, Hillian's Coast TV, and I settled. I accepted his partial refund of my money and the unrepaired TV. I feel ripped off because he did not tell me there would be a fee for diagnostics.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

First of all, I don't understand why the customer filed a complaint and what her

complaint is about, because I never refused to give her a refund and to return her TV.

What happened is the self diagnosis of the TV indicated inverter(backlighting)

problem, but replacing it did not fix the problem and further chekup pointed to the

display panel defect which is unrepairable. I explained this to the customer and assured

her to return it with refund when I will have put the disassembled TV together.

The customer could not wait and filed a complaint, not just to you but also to Costco

where she bought the TV 4 years ago.

The customer came to us on 6/25 and picked up the refund and the broken TV.

Some customers act in a funny way.
