Highland Park Apartments

I just wanted to state that you better be certain you will be moving in before you apply! I did a tour and was ready to fill out an application. They require the app fee, admin fee and security deposit all before you can apply. The rental agent told me all of the money would come back, other than the app fee, if I was turned down as a tenant. Almost a week later when I was turned down (for a not valid reason) I was told that the security deposit would be refunded in 48-72 hours. I argued with the manager that this information was not what I had been told when I applied, that I am a single mother of 3 and I never would have chanced $165 for an administrative fee that I would lose if I did not move in. I was basically told that it doesn't matter what their staff told me I do not get the admin fee back. So basically their employees can say whatever they want to say as long as it is in "fine print" they won't do anything about it. Oh and it took 4 days to get the deposit back. Not good mgt
