We did a complete rebuild on the transmission in [redacted] ***' car We completed the work almost a year ago As with all of our transmissions, we stand behind our work and do offer our customers a year / 24,mile warranty The vehicle has driven over 18,miles and a year when [redacted] called to say the transmission was acting up We asked her to bring it in so we could inspect it After inspection, we determined that it was not a transmission problem, but an engine problem causing her issues We are not a motor shop and have no insight as to what it would be Needless to say, she was not convinced and demanded we replace her transmission We did a complete rebuild again with no charge to her as it was covered under her warranty The motor problem was still there and so she is no further ahead than she was initially She still had the same problem as before Now she is demanding that the warranty time and mileage start over for her, or for me to give her $2500? The rebuild was done under warranty She did not buy a second transmission If Dodge fixes your transmission under their 36,mile warranty, they do not start the mileage over That is not how anyone does warranty's I will honor the remainder of the warranty she has with her purchase and that is all

when [redacted] called to say the transmission was acting up. We asked her to bring it in so we could inspect it. After inspection, we determined that it was not a transmission problem, but an engine problem causing her issues. We are not a motor shop and have no insight as to what it would be. Needless to say, she was not convinced and demanded we replace her transmission. We did a complete rebuild again with no charge to her as it was covered under her warranty. The motor problem was still there and so she is no further ahead than she was initially. She still had the same problem as before. Now she is demanding that the warranty time and mileage start over for her, or for me to give her $2500? The rebuild was done under warranty. She did not buy a second transmission. If Dodge fixes your transmission under their 36,000 mile warranty, they do not start the mileage over. That is not how anyone does warranty's. I will honor the remainder of the warranty she has with her purchase and that is all.
