Higgins Cement Work

Review: On behalf of my parents, [redacted] and [redacted], I contracted [redacted] Higgins based on the Revdex.com's report to do much needed repair work at their residence.

He was paid over $7000.00 and has yet to finish or complete any aspect of the contract that we had and has left us with a bathroom unfinished(no shower, toilet, or sink)

He left the front of our house partially unpainted and never finished the brick pointing and cleaning as promised. He tried to have people come in our house and take tools

and supplies out which we were forced to call the police and file a report. He started work then didnt show for over 2 weeks then left a message on our machine

appologizing for the problems claiming he would make good on everything. He left a truck brokedown in front of our neighbors house for over 2 weeks. He asked me to

purchase supplies because his truck was brokedown and I foolishly did and has yet to repay us as promised. As of yet he still has not returned any of our phone calls.

It is now February 24, 2014 and we have been trying get other contractors to finish the work, but; no contractor will take the job without completely starting over because of

[redacted]'s poor craftsmanship and we truely cant afford to completely start over. We also found out that [redacted] is not registered as a contractor through the attorney generals office

even though he assured me he is a contractor and a mason. We are truely at a crossroads.Desired Settlement: 1) We would like to be repaid for all supplies we bought and have not yet been repaid as promised.

2) We would like to have a real licensed contractor other then [redacted] repair/fix all the damages and unfinished work to our house at his cost

that he demo'd and didnt finish since he is an unlicensed contractor and mason when he started.
