Mr [redacted] did have his CLS VIN# [redacted] mileage [redacted] towed in by Mercedes-Benz roadside service on February 2nd Complaint was brake warning, visit workshop warning messages on and reduced braking powerDiagnostics were completed on the vehicle and the following fault codes were present 1.C- pressure reservoir faultFault code current 2.C26BB - hydraulic fault/malfunction in pressure supplyFault code stored 3.C26DE - hydraulic fault/malfunction in pressure supplyFault code stored 4.C25D- hydraulic fault/no or insufficient pressure supplyfault code stored 5.C- Check component S9/1(stop lamp switch) These pressure reservoir faults do not apply to the year unlimited mileage warranty extension for the SBC pumpThe fault codes that are covered by the warranty extension are related to the service threshold reached, which were not present in this vehicleAs a Mercedes-Benz franchise dealer we only administer Mercedes-Benz warrantyDealers do not make warranty policy of what is covered and what is not, the manufacturer Mercedes-Benz sets those guidelinesMr [redacted] noted in this complaint that he contact Mercedes-Benz USA and they confirmed what we had explained to him was correctMercedes-Benz warranty pays us for parts and labor just as Mr [redacted] would pay for customer pay repairsMercedes-Benz of Jackson would have no problem replacing the SBC pump if it meet Mercedes-Benz required faults to be replacedMercedes-Benz of Jackson would look at assisting Mr [redacted] thru discounting cost of parts and laborMr [redacted] is welcome to contact me directly to this option if interested As I stated earlier Mercedes-Benz of Jackson does not set warranty guidelines the manufacturer doesMr [redacted] would need to direct his complaint towards the manufacturer not the dealerMercedes-Benz of Jackson did absorb the cost of the tow and diagnostic charges as a goodwill gesture to Mr***

fault codes were present
1.C2131 - pressure reservoir fault. Fault code current
2.C26BB - hydraulic fault/malfunction in pressure supply. Fault code stored
3.C26DE - hydraulic fault/malfunction in pressure supply. Fault code stored
4.C25D4 - hydraulic fault/no or insufficient pressure supply. fault code stored.
5.C2131 - Check component S9/1(stop lamp switch)
These pressure reservoir faults do not apply to the 10 year unlimited mileage warranty extension for the SBC pump. The fault codes that are covered by the warranty extension are related to the service threshold reached, which were not present in this vehicle. As a Mercedes-Benz franchise dealer we only administer Mercedes-Benz warranty.
