This man does not stand behind his work. Shoddy workmanship. They put in a set of stairs for us years ago. It did not last seven years. I had to call him the day after he put it in because he failed to check the level on the top. It rained the night he finished the work and water pooled up against the house. He came the next day and sawed a tiny groove in the slab and left. He also failed to account for expansion and contraction. Within a couple of years the concrete began to shrink away from the limestone and the limestone began to spall. He said he came by one of the many times I called him, but I never saw him and we are always up early. He claimed we put something heavy on the stairs. Nice way to pass it off. I am right now having to do repairs on those steps in order for them to last until I can afford to replace them again. He told me he wouldn't warrant the steps if we used tiles like the original ones (which lasted 40 some years). By the time the bricks began to crack the statue of limitations ran out and we're out of luck. He knew just how to handle his warranty issue, just don't show up. I will make sure to let everyone know not to use Chris Hibit!
