Levenhuk is unwilling to provide me a replacement part for a $Skyline EQ Telescope, Black, Oversized XXXXX
I purchased a Levenhuk Skyline EQ Telescope, Black, Oversized XXXXX for $in June 12, The telescope attaches to a bracket that has a t-screw mechanism that hold the vertical position of the telescope This bracket/screw assembly is a threaded connection which requires you to turn the t-bolt clockwise and counterclockwise to adjust the telescope vertically and hold it in place After several uses, the threads in the bracket quickly wore and now the t-bolt no longer holds the position of the telescope vertically
I have made several attempts to get a replacement bracket from Levenhuk and they are telling me the failure is from misuse and the warranty states they are not responsible for stripped treads This is completely ridiculous because you have no choice but to turn the t-bolt screw clockwise and counterclockwise to adjust and hold the vertical position
