In response to the claim above, Herb Chambers BMW has done nothing wrong, or unethical in the diagnosis of this vehicle. The vehicle was towed in not running to have a recall performed (lengthening of battery cable) The car still did not run after this We then replaced the battery and were able to jump the car and get it running, but the car still had a multitude of problems The owner said the car had been sitting idle for at least a year. Our initial estimate of repairs (only of what we could visually see, as the car is not safe to drive) was over $14,There has been an extensive water leak in the vehicle and there could be more damage than just what we can see.I spoke to the owner and we looked the car over again and believe $is the bare minimum needed to get the car running Due to the water leak, the owner has decided to contact his insurance company They came out to inspect the damage and we are awaiting to hear back if they will cover anything for himI am happy to forward either or both or these date stamped reports to whomever would like to review them.We have held his car here since April as a courtesy, as it does not stay running and the customer has to decide if he wants to put any money into repairing his vehicleThank you

As Mr. [redacted] has stated, the Minnesota RMV has received the paperwork we sent for the tax abatement.   The state is processing the paperwork, which as Mr. [redacted] knows, may take up to 4 weeks.  Once we have received the tax refund from the state of Minnesota and a clear title for the BMW X6M, we will reimburse Mr. [redacted] $3,105. Thank you,[redacted]General Sales Manager

[I am rejection the terms due to the fact that it was stated that I would only be given my deposit ONLY if the taxes are refunded.  I had allowed the dealership ample time to submit the proper documents to the DMV in Minnesota for the refund of the taxes and registration.  Prior to this response, the dealership had avoided any acknowledgement of an amount owed to me.  I did not return the car simply because I was unhappy ad the dealership knows it.  Per my conversations and text messages to the sales person, the vehicle was in pristine condition with only a small mark on the rear bumper.  The vehicle had a rear dented wheel, scratches which required body work per my local BMW dealership and paint runs and oversprayr on the area which they damaged then repainted.  So in my opinion I have every right to return the piece of junk they were trying to pass off as a CPO vehicle.  Furthermore upon returning the vehicle, the dealership told me that the comprehensive maintenance, wheel & tire  and registration/taxes were NOT refundable... they claimed that I owed an amount in excess of $13000.  This is near criminal and I have been able to debunk the claims made by the dealership.  I called and spoke to BMW of North America and they had no records of the comprehensive maintenance which was supposedly paid and "non-refundable."  In addition, BMW of NA informed me that the Wheel & Tire protection package was 100% refundable ([redacted] told me that the package was to stay with the vehicle but in the same breath told me that the new buyer would still have to pay for the package when asked whether or not the next buyer would inherit what I paid for).... The dealership cannot have it both ways.  I called the MN DMV and was informed that we had 90 days from the date of purchase 6/20/2015 to submit paperwork for a full refund: On Aug 5, 2016, at 3:08 PM, [redacted] <[redacted]> wrote:[redacted], I just spoke with BMW North America and financial, for the financial aspect the loan has been reversed and I will be receiving the first month payment.  With regards to the maintenance plan and amount of $3595,  BMW of North America does not show any upgraded maintenance plan other than the balance of the factory warranty and CPO warranty.  Please tell me who the maintenance plan was through since BMW NA is not aware of this plan.  Per BMW of NA the maintenance cost should have been refunded as well.  The Minnesota Department of motor vehicle informed me that there is a 90 day grace period to have taxes refunded.  I was told that the dealership needed to initiate the correction of ownership and that I would not be able to do so on my end.  Per my understanding after speaking to the various parties, the dealership needs to request the tax refund from the MN DMV and that the maintenance plan is refundable as well. [redacted]   On Sep 1, 2016, at 8:08 PM, [redacted] <[redacted]@herbchambers.com> wrote:[redacted], I confirmed today the RMV does not have the paperwork for some reason.  Yesterday as a backup, we had sent the paperwork again.  Because we’re up against a holiday, I’m sure they will be able to confirm delivery by Tuesday of next week.  Will be in touch. Thank you,[redacted]   [redacted]                    General Sales ManagerHerb Chambers BMW BostonTel:  [redacted]Fax: [redacted]  The dealership is slow to file for the tax/registration refund and it took about one month for the dealership to send the paperwork.  As of 9/20/2015 it will be 90 days and if the process is not completed properly the request for the refund would be beyond the 90 window.  This situation would of course be litigated in small claims court should we need to go there.  I have filed this case with the Revdex.com to warn other buyers to beware of this dealership and sales tactics.  I will only accept to close this case when I have receive payment.

Regards,
[redacted] Herb Chambers took my money on April 6, 2017, today is April 28, 2017. It is causing undue hardship for me, considering, it took them five second to take my money and as of today haven't got my money back in my account.

we have tried both email and telephone for [redacted] with no response. At the time of his issue with the dealership he was offered a loaner car and for us to pick up the vehicle from his residence as to 1. not disrupt his day, and 2. not render him without a vehicle. We are trying to rectify this for...

the client with little to no action on his part.
