Unfortunately I have been notified by your office that a customer had sent a complaint about our store to the Revdex.com. The complaint ID is [redacted]. In response to her complaint I would like to say the following :
Henry Harde's Wines and Liquors is an established family run...
store in [redacted], Brooklyn for over 80 years. It is unfortunate that this customer left our store unsatisfied but it has never been our policy to steal or cheat our customers- and it never will be. According to the NY State Liquor Authority, we are not allowed to accept returned bottles unless the product is defective in quality.
We are very grateful for the many years we have been a neighborhood store and hope to be in business for many, many more. Thank You
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
A refund for the money he cheated me out of was not credited back and morally speaking, SHOULD BE RETURNED to me. I do not care that he has been in [redacted] for 80 years; he has no right to OVERCHARGE ME and STEAL MY MONEY. And the bottle of liquor sold to me was NOT BOXED when I bought it -- and certainly was never opened.
The merchant was therefore obliged to take the product back or refund me for the OVERCHARGE, or what he stole from me.

Review: I was DEFRAUDED by this vendor who gave me a SMALLER BOTTLE OF SCOTCH and charged me a price for a MUCH LARGER BOTTLE!Regrettably, I was not paying attention at the register because I was with my 90 year-old uncle who is on a cane. We went into Henry Harde's Liquor store & purchased Scotch; they OVERCHARGED us by $17 which I discovered after reviewing the bill at home & verifying on the internet & elsewhere that the correct price for this smaller size is $29.99, and NOT $46.99. After realizing that I was cheated, I went back to the store and the merchants refused to give me my money back, even though the bottle was sealed and we hade been there less than 10 minutes ago. They insisted that I pick something else out which I refused to do as THEY ARE THIEVES!Desired Settlement: I wish to return the liquor and receive a credit card refund for $46.99 or 2 $17 refund since they RIPPED ME OFF BY CHARGING ME A PRICE FOR A LARGER BOTTLE WHILE SNEAKILY GIVING ME A SMALLER ONE; I have a copy of the charge on my record as they also took my receipt! Please keep us anonymous as we live nearby and are afraid.
