Good afternoon [redacted],I am writing this email to respond to a letter I received from Revdex.com in regards to a complaint you have received. The person in question is [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] was a tenant of ours at Henday Self Storage. We have terminated his lease on the grounds that he is 66 days...
delinquent on his rent. Mr. [redacted] entered into a contract that states that after 20 days, the tenant is to be locked out of his unit, and after 30 days, of the date of default, the land lord (Henday) may terminate this lease with out further notice. Upon termination, the landlord will then have the right to, a) forcefully enter the unit and take possession of the unit, b) sell the contents within the unit to cover any monies owing to the lease and late charges. Mr. [redacted] offered to pay $100 of the $810.97 owing, which is unacceptable to me. I understand Mr. [redacted] has fallen on hard times, but we have given him twice the amount of time required to remedy his financial situation with Henday Self Storage. We attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] multiple times, with multiple messages. Mr. [redacted] spoke with our manager 2 times, and promised to pay in a couple days both times, and we never received payment. My manager had informed me that he was unruly and disrespectful both times. I personally have spoken to Mr. [redacted] to seek payment, to which I was told that he was not able to pay the full amount but he can pay $100 towards the rent, and $100 every month until he is caught up. He again, was disrespectful and unruly in our conversation. Again, Mr. [redacted] entered into a legally binding contract with states the payment options and it does not include partial payments but only full payments. Unfortunately Mr. [redacted] belongings will be auctioned off immediately to remedy this situation.
