Two pieces of the refrigerator were split during the moving, and upon entering they split a third one, they also dented the refrigerator.
A moving quote was requested to Hello Movers on 1/2/20. The service day requested was 1/6/20.
I provided the manager with an inventory of all the furniture that would be transported to my new home. They provide me with a quote of $421.5 for 1 truck two workers, 3hours. When I reviewed the quote I noticed some discrepancies I let the owner ( Xavier)know about it. I made the corrections on the reply email and I told him to quote me accordingly because I did not want any surprise. He told me that everything was fine.
On 1/6/20 when the workers showed up, one of them said it would take them five to six hours to move my stuff. He added I will be charged $99.00 extra per hour. I asked him to call the owner, but he couldn't get in touch with him, then he was able to talk to the manager Mike. I explained to him that I had provided them with an accurate inventory for them to be able to make a quote appropriate so I did not feel to paying all this extra money. I calmed me down saying it would take probably an extra hour, but wouldn't be that much.
The movers start putting things in the truck, but they disassembled a computer desk and a bottom freezer refrigerator (the last one took them forever to figure it out how to disassemble). Once we get to my new place, I was threaten with not unloading my furniture if I did not pay $565.00 so I did not have any other choice than paying the amount requested.
Since they do not have a qualified personal or someone trained to do this job, they were hours trying to assemble the computer desk, then they received a phone call from the manager asking them to leave.
One of the worker was willing to stay, but the other one threaten him with being fired, so both left. I called the manager and complained about it. He tried to justify his action saying they were doing this move for five hours and they have something else on their schedule. He added they do not move bottom freezer refrigerator, that's why they had had left it in the back yard of the new property.
I explained to him, that an accurate inventory has been provided to him, so he could provide an appropriate quote. I added if they did not deal with bottom freezer refrigerator because they are big and require to take down the house doors, he was supposed to inform me about it and decline the job. He was also informed three pieces of the refrigerator were broken, pictures were sent to him.
After that, Mike said he would be at my place to fix the computer desk, but he didn't. Three days after the move he send the same guys. They assembled the computer, and move the refrigerator inside, but not only took them forever to do that, but when I checked it, I noticed two dents. I also sent him those pictures and requested to be compensated with $400.00. He said he will talk to the owner (***) about it. Few days passed *** I contacted him to know the response and he responded the company would give me only $150.00 which I obviously refused. They damaged a very expensive refrigerator and want to compensate me with a little bit of money
To be compensated for $400.00
The guys that moved *** was very professional. She never told us we had to remove her front door to move in the refrigerator and remove her refrigerator doors as well. The equipment needed to remove the doors we did not have but we do not remove refrigerator doors as a company anyways. Not something we do for anyone and if she would of mentioned that over the phone I would of told her. So we left her fridge in the garage and there was no damage to the fridge at all.
Took me sometime to get back to you, because of personal reasons. As I mentioned to you over the phone, Hello Movers was fully informed about the refrigerator, so if they did not feel comfortable or able to do this job they were supposed to let me know and not to schedule the moving.
We as customers have to be vocal about stuff like this, and have to report to the proper authorities so they can stop this behavior.
This moving was a rip off, they asked for $421.00 and charged me $565.oo ( I do have the invoice and the receipt in case you need it).
The guys from the company, disassembled the refrigerator and the computer desk and left it like that. After I complained, took him three days to send them back ( same personal). They assembled the computer desk, and moved in the refrigerator they had left in the back yard ( you will see it in the pictures).
The handlers are loose, and the water hose was improperly installed. Water comes out in front of the dispenser, instead of behind.
We were disrespected, mistreated and scammed for this company.

The customer had two plastic draws that were damaged before we moved her I will not be paying for those damages

This company as well as the managers are a scam. They know nothing was wrong with this refrigerator prior to the moving, but they truly believe they can damage personal stuff ,and not be hold accountable.
I completely disagree with their false response and would like to be compensated. The pictures speak by themselves.
I hope the Revdex.com can help me on this. I have not done it yet, but if necessary I will put what happened in all social media and I will take the dispute to another level.
we did not move her refrigerator because we do not remove door off of refrigerator
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I need to be compensated for the damage caused to refrigerator as well as the lack of professionalism and the disrespectful way I was treated. Not to mentioning all the time that I have to invest with this complain.
They responded on 4/7/20, they did not moved the refrigerator, but they mentioned previously they had left it in the garage, so they are contradicting themselves.
I think it's pretty clear they are a scam. Authority, should made unscrupulous people like this ones needs to be hold accountable for their actions , so they do not continue with this pattern.
