I dropped off a pair of boots to have a heel replaced in the middle of December at the "mail box store" off of Racetrack Road. I have called Heal to Toe every month to find out the status but they tell me that they do not have my boots.
Here it is May and still no boots. I am thankful that I am in flip flops now, but wish I would have had my boots last winter. My guess is that the store either mailed them somewhere, liked them a lot and kept them, or the shoe repair shop stuck them in a corner somewhere. The repair man said he repaired everything that came in before and after I dropped them off. He does not seem interested enough to call me back or to check into it closer, so I am expecting that he will do the right thing and pay me for my property, but I won't hold my breath! The system that Heal to Toe uses for drop off and pick up is not reliable. Beware.
