6.14.19 We recommend Budget Renovation & Restoration for home update and repair. Our experience with them has been positive. Work done at our residence June 2019: 2 damaged roof eaves repair, Old wood deck (about 400 sq. ft.) replaced with new treated lumber deck, 3 sets of wood steps (deck & porch access) rebuilt. Old, inoperable hot tub (built in) removed & the deck substructure rebuilt Trim on 12 large insulated windows was reconditioned and freshly painted Insulation stripping on 3 of those windows was expertly replaced, 1 outside entrance door (residence) was realigned (to stop it wobbling) and a new lockset installed, 1 outside entrance door (garage) frame that had rot in the sills repaired & repainted, 2 drywall stress fractures (inside walls) were repaired and repainted with a perfect color match. Removal of a broken kitchen trash compactor. Brian *** then custom built a slide in trash bin, a new wood door for the opening...and stained the door to match our kitchen cabinets. New kitchen ceiling lights (LED) installed.
Carpet in living room re-stretched and cleaned. Our take: There was some delay in completing the work due to vendor supply issues outside of Brian ***'s control. When the issues came up he was prompt to communicate to us about his efforts to resolve them. He kept the project moving despite the supply interruptions. He responds quickly when called. The work crew is exceptional. Competent, steadily working, on time , neat and polite. Brian *** was actively engaged on site with work progress. Work quality is high level. No shortcuts. No shoddy material. Expert technical ability & application. Brian *** speaks clearly about expectations with no evasive language. He wants things to be done right.
