Review: On May 12 2013 I recieved a call on my home phone from a [redacted] asking if I would be interested in placing in ad in a local chuch newspaper on behalf of my Scentsy business, I am a Indepentent consultant and this sounded to good to be true, One problem I had never heard of the church. Mr [redacted] provided me with the name of the church and the name of his company and how many people I would be targeting, I asked what the fee's would be and he explained the fees were $240 A year. I told him send me the paper work and let me take a look at it and I would think about it.I wanted to do my own homework on this,I made NO commitment to anything. Now two days later I get a contract in the mail saying "THIS IS A 1 YEAR NON CANCELABLE AGREEMENT MADE BETWEEN YOU AND OUR SALEMEN.. wait a second. I have since called Mr [redacted] leaving 4 messages telling him, No I did not enter into a VERBAL or WRITTEN contract AND I want nothing to do with him or his company. He went to my Scentsy business website and seeked me out,as he stated to me durning our phone call,and phone records well show. He contacted me acrossed state lines he is in washington state, I am in tennesssee, to sell me his product. I am now in fear he will turn this over to collections and seek payment and I will have to seek legal action to stop him. I want this contract terminated IMMEDIATELY.This is illegal sending a nonbinding contract without signature, and of course having a non verbal contract, and if you do have a recording the person has to know the conversation is being recorded be law.Then crossing federal and state lines with an illegal document.Please I seek your helpDesired Settlement: This Contract to be NULL AND VOID.. AND NOTHING TO REFLECT ON MY CREDIT REPORT

Hello: [redacted], Scentsy and I ([redacted]) had talked about putting a Scentsy Ad in the Church Newsletter at [redacted] in Nashville.

[redacted] decided she did not want the ad. I talked to [redacted] and sent her an Email, stating the ad will not run in the Newsletter.

It doesn't even start until July 2013, so there is no billing, or late charges, or credit report issues.

The agreement is null and void, no bill will be sent, the ad will not run starting in July
