Heartwood Kitchens

The owner of this company's wife came to my place to do estimates on a kitchen renovation, had come to the house seen the space, and was finishing up measurements and at the time of taking a down payment, we talked about delivering her a personal check tomorrow morning as a downpayment. She said that was okay and left my home without giving me any estimates just telling me about the timeline.

She left the house after doing measurements. I went to her store in person later on that day to hand deliver the check for a downpayment. She was talking with a fellow employee and did not acknowledge me for 30 mins and I just sat and waited for her to be finished. After she walked straight up to me and stated: "I talked with my husband and after speaking with him we decided that we do not want to do business with you." She then turned around and walked away without giving me an explanation as to why or what had changed in the time she did measurements in the morning and now.

This was especially disheartening because we are immigrants that ARE citizens of this country and we find it extremely rude that we were not given a reason as to why they are not willing to do a renovation on our kitchen's home?
