Tell us why hereGood morning! This is in response to the [redacted] complaint. The homeowner contacted us for a liner replacement, complaining about all of the previous work done by their past service provider, which was a red flag as his firm usually does good work. The existing liner had...
many floor wrinkles, leaks and looked very aged. We agreed upon a price, which at the time they sure didmy find me to be "rude". The liner arrived and we informed them it would be installed as soon as the rainy weather stopped as they live adjacent to Indian Creek, which is hugely problematic for emptying a pool. They had party date we were trying to meet, but to do so meant risking draining the pool with a high water table. that was the first instance we saw the irrational side of the [redacted] as she insisted her money he refunded when I asked for a write off of liability in case of any pool.collapse during draining...keep in mind it was my recommendation to NOT drain the pool, but they were insistent the new liner be installed for the party. After being yelled at by both the husband and then the wife, we agreed to install the liner weather be darned lol. I cleaned the deck, folded and cleaned the cover, installed all handrails and ladders, removed the existing poor fitting and maintained liner, filled the pool, started all equipment, left pool in running condition ready for the [redacted] to add start up chemicals, as per contract. They were given option to have chemical added from Heartland Pool & Spa Service Inc at additional cost during the initial pricing stage, but declined. The pool was opened per contract, liner fits great, especially compared.to the past liner. pictures are attached to show the perfect floor, which is always the main goal of any liner is a smooth floor fit. [redacted] Mfg does make what is called a drape fit liner which has plenty of material in the corners for longer life. The liner fits very much to standards per [redacted] Mfg, who is also sending regional representative to verify as it is their liner, which they would seem warrantable or not. There is no refund offered as the work was done timely, properly and per contract. In nearly 30 years of installing liners, yes, unfortunately we do come across ccustomers who act out unreasonably at times. This appears to be one of those as the post dated check that was given to us would indicate. We had no idea it was post dated, quite frankly never even thought to look. once the check was proceased, the [redacted]s became combative and it appears they intended to write a check post dated, stop payment before we could deposit, thus getting the job for half price. It's a troubling situation when we see people do unscrupulous acts like this, but thank goodness it happens very rarely. it should be noted the [redacted] had their party and are using the pool regularly. We have other pools In the area and witness the pool being used every Friday. Thanks for the contact and time to respond to this complaint Sincerely,[redacted]Heartland Pool and Spa Service Inc
