So, I have been a patient here off and on for yearsI have to say, the billing practices are borderline criminal as you will consent to one price list that you are shown during the exam and then they attempt to add on additional fees once you come back for the cleaning (which is what you had agreed to on the original price list)Then, if you point out the error, they take the charge off the bill before you do the cleaning--only to bill you for it later!
As for services- they force you to get the most expensive cleaning option (root planing) even if you tell them you only want a basic cleanThe hygienist is usually pretty good but the dentist that replaced my last filling also insisted I have an 'inlay' filling with the 'porcelain' rather than the metalOnce the automatic sculpture machine was done shaping the inlay and he glued it in he found it was too large as my bite was way offHe then drilled the enamel off the tooth above it to make it fit- just a matter of time before that tooth starts to rot because he drilled a large amount of enamel of it! AND the inlay feels like it is some sort of temporary filling --it is porous and feels like it will disintegrate at any moment
Beware the billing practices and the services that they present to you as though you have no choices (aka bully you into)- patients are supposed to be fully informed about the services the doctor recommends and their alternatives (aka 'informed consent')- not pressured into helping the doctor pay for his new fancy office!!!
I am seriously considering filing ethics charges with the state licensing board!
