A [redacted] is a high quality, rugged wood stove The damages you describe on this relatively new stove are consistent with an over-fired situation Either the ash door is being left open or leaking, or the chimney has an excessive draft Each stove is leak tested here at the factory To have this damage so early in the life of a stove is a warning of a problem This damage will certainly happen again if nothing is done differently.We sold this stove to our distributor in BC that subsequently sold it to the dealer that sold it to you HearthStone honors it warranty, but we do it through the dealer We can not know all the circumstances of this issue from here HearthStone has sent the replacement parts to Bennett Sheetmetal on 5/29/to answer the complaint, warranted or not FedEx tracking number: [redacted] I would recommend that a hearth professional look at the installation and use patterns to determine the cause of failure Thank you!
