Hearst recently took over a local paper The Journal Inquire in Connecticut . Removed all their delivery people 2 days after taking over and has the post office deliver the paper daily now. Unless the post office isn't delivering that day or on any holidays. Telling their customers go on the internet and read the paper. Many seniors have enough trouble reading regular print and struggle with the internet. They also refuse to credit your account when they don't deliver a paper that day stealing from their customers and breeching their contract.
