***, *** *** at *** *** ***, called us for a No Heat situation on Monday, October 20th. Upon arrival, the diagnoses was the boiler pump had failed. Being this heating system is from 1972, we had to search for the part. With apartment/renters, the building
manager called us five times within this two day search, this repair was high priority. Through a very exhaustive search, found that the pump was obsolete due to age. We had to then look for a pump with similar operating performance. Upon locating the alternative, gave the building owner, Mr*** *** ***, of *** *** *** in Green Bay, the $pump replacement price and he approved the ordering of the pump and asked that it be completed ASAP. The pump was then ordered, which we had to run to pick up in another city
Upon completion of the pump replacement and restarting the boiler system, the boiler system had further issues in regards to water pressure due to a pressure reducing valve not functioning. We informed the building owner of the situation and he declined to repair. The boiler was then manually filled to psi pressure (boiler pressure)
Now that the repair is complete and his emergency is resolved, Mr*** thinks that sending a Better Business Complaint alleging all kinds of impropriety, he can negotiate this bill. Healthy Home Heating and Cooling is a professional service company that only does repairs that are prior approved
On Thursday, October 23rd, Mr. *** contacted us to look at another repair that he completed himself to fix a water leak with a piece of a car radiator hose and a hose clamp. He would not let us complete the repair properly for his tenants safety
Mr***, *** ** *** *** ***, is refusing to pay the bill for the repair he approved. Furthermore, in the mail on October 30th, we received a threatening letter from Mr***. See attached.Sincerely,*** ***
