I got into an accident by getting rear ended by the City of Montebello Public Bus on 12/20/2019. After going back and forth with Farmers and City of Montebello Insurance (Hazelrigg Claims Management), a reimbursment check will be printed out and sent to me. The issue is that Hazelrigg Claims Management has been giving me the run around since August 31st. On August 31st, I emailed *** (Hazelrigg Employee) to follow up on status on when payment will be sent. She replies back that the check will be sent out on August 31st. After 5 days, I never received check and called to follow up on the what happened. She finds out from accounting that check was held and never sent out. Then she tells me over the phone that the check will be sent out on September 9th and emails me a scanned copy of check (Check 5077) and again, I wait 5 days and didnt receive anything. I emailed her that I didn't receive check and she responds that she confirmed check was sent on the 9th. I replied back CCing the Director of Finance and Controller from City of Montebello asking *** was the check really sent out or still in your possession. Within 10 minutes, ***, responds that he decided to hold the checks after printing to ensure that there are funds available in their account and to wait till next week for check. After checking my mail on Thursday (9/24/20), I did not receive check and emailed *** on Thursday 9/24 requesting to reissue another check and to send asap. I have not received a response from them.
