Prospective customers need not waste their time contacting this company, as they do not respond to either phone calls or emails. Apparently, someone has used this service in the past with good luck. For our household, there are other companies who answer the phone and respond to emails that we found to be more worthwhile, fyi

I received a mailer coupon for $300 off any job over $1,700 from A+ so I decided to contact them for a free estimate on removing a number of trees from my back yard. A representative came out to my house and gave me an estimate of $2,200 for the entire job. So I decided this was a great deal being that I have a coupon which would bring the price down to $1,900. Upon receiving a written estimate via email I noticed that the quote was now $2,400 with a coupon discount of $200 which brought me back to $2,200. A few points...

1. I was not told at the time of the estimate that it would be $2,400
2. The mailer coupon says $300 not $200 off
3. This essentially means that I receive NO coupon discount from my original estimate

I had a few email exchanges with A+ about this discrepancy. I specifically pointed out that my estimate was $2,200 and the coupon states $300 off. I received a revised estimate that STILL had $2,400 but the coupon discount was changed to $300. I again pointed out that $2,400 was not my original estimate and to please make the correction. The reply from A+ was "I will send that over now, we have an opening tomorrow. Do you want to go ahead and get on the schedule?". So based on this I agreed to have the work scheduled.
When the workers came out I told them about this discrepancy and they confirmed that the estimate was for $2,200. They were great! I was very satisfied with the work so I agreed to give them ADDITIONAL business and have 5 stumps grounded.
When I gave them the check at the end of the project one of the workers stated the office was on the phone and wanted to speak to me. Again we are going back and forth over this $2,400 estimate. I explained to them everything I've already stated above and they would not budge. The fact is A+ admitted that a mistake was made and I was not told what the actual quote was at the time of the estimate. The fact is I was never aware of any $200 discount nor was it discussed. On my part, I shouldn't have scheduled the work to be done until I received the 3rd revised estimate. The fact that I gave them additional business and they've admitted a mistake on their part to me means they could have stuck to the original quote. I think its horrible from a customer service perspective that they couldn't take the $200 loss and they put it on the customer instead.
