Maple. I have always referred our products to being Real Wood to which they truly are. Plywood is commonly used with many of our products, as it is displayed on our showroom floor. Plywood is most commonly used on the sides and shelves of many products including our bookcases. It’s not considered solid wood but is considered real wood because, unlike particle board or MDF, it is in fact manufactured of real wood. Their visit involved a lot more than just a manufacture catalog. They were shown both unfinished and finished examples of the manufactures products displayed on our showroom floor to get a sense of what they should expect from start to finish with their custom built / custom finished bookcase order. There were several custom feature that they had requested such as the trim options, door options, and special cuts of trim to even custom finish options. All of these options that they had requested were shown to them from examples on our showroom floor. From start to finish we helped [redacted] and her husband create a beautiful custom built / custom finished bookcase wall unit for their home with all of the special details/request that we had discussed from the start. Again, I apologize to [redacted] for her mistaking Solid Wood for Real Wood, but never, from the start did I tell them that it was Solid Maple.
