I had a family emergency out of state that required my immediate attentionI booked a flight that day and flew from xxxxx, NC to xxxxx, NCI missed my connecting flight from xxxxx, NC to xxxxx, Fl and was forced to either sleep in an airport full of strangers or to purchase a hotel room for the nightI chose option After comping up short on several searches I finally found a hotel that had one room available on www.xxxxx.comOut of fear that this room would soon be sold, I hurried and booked the room at Hawthorn Suites by xxxxxAfter such a long night and being stuck in different airports in different cities I simply wanted to sleepChewent smoothly, staff was niceWhen I walked in my hotel room the smell of old cigarette smoke and cigarette butts promptly greeted me before I could turn on the lightsBeyond the smell was soiled/stained bedding! Several strands of hair on the sheets! I pulled back the top sheet and blanket and slept in the clothes I had just travele
