Hawthorn - A Bed & Breakfast

I am rejecting this response because: While the proprietor of Hawthorne was partially correct - he was and is wrong about trying to resolve this.  My mother had fallen sick, we cancelled fearing we'd be attending a funeral rather than spending a nice extended weekend at the Hawthorne.  I called him directly to "re" book our cancelled room.  He said that was behind us and we'd have to "re-book" and coincidentally, have to pay again to make the reservation.  We only wanted our original room and the original date back.  We were not looking for something for free, or any other special consideration.  Since the room we booked had not been reserved by someone else, we thought it only fair to get the room we paid for on the date we originally planned.  [redacted] Said I hung up on him.  After he said I would need to re-book the reservation and pay for it AGAIN, there was no need for more conversation.I think a proper response would be for me to pay [redacted] for the service fees charged by www.bedandbreakfast.com and allow us to use our original reservation.  Now, we're out $360.
