The tenant claims that the unit was entered and his valuables takenWe have units in this secure buildingThere are security cameras and and a FOB is required to enter the buildingIt is probably more secure than many open access hotelsThe unit can only be entered with a touch pad lockThere
was no evidence of forced entry and the touch pad combination is cleared after each rental and a new code is given to each renterThe only way that another person could enter the unit would be if the renter did not lock the door behind them or they gave the code to someoneThis renter stayed in another of our units for days and then moved to this unitThis renter threatened legal action and threatened negative reviews if we did not give them a refund for their entire stayIt would take a very bold person to enter a unit and stay for an extended time in that unit now knowing when the tenant would returnNote that this claim was at the end of the tenants stayThey said their purse was not takenInteresting that their ID's were in the purse which of course were needed to get on the return flightInteresting that this was near the end of their stayInteresting that there has never been a report of any illegal entry into any of our units in this building in the years we have owned them, Or into any other units in the building with the key pad locksAgain, since there was no forced entry, the only way to enter this unit was if the door was left open or the code was given to someoneWe will not refund the rental amounts that the tenant payed for renting our two units
