Haselwood Imports Reviews (%countItem)

Volkswagen Haselwood General Manger called me early afternoon today and gave me an ultimatum.
Volkswagen Haselwood had to tear out all of my wiring and replace my wet nodules with dry ones. The reason why I had wet nodules was because Volkswagen did not do a diagnostic on my car's sunroof. There was a clog in one of my sunroof's drain. Instead of fixing the clog, the first serviceman at Haselwood said he was going to put fans in the back seat of my car to dry out my carpet. Unfortunately, that was not the solution. What the serviceman should have done was to unclog my sunroof drain. Can you guess what happened the next time it rained? That's right! Water built up in my engine and wet every alarm system nodule. Since the first service guy does not work at Haselwood 5 months later, there is no way to verify my story. I find it very peculiar that no one can contact the first service guy to verify that I had a clogged drain in my sunroof.
Since the customer's concern is not put "First" at this Volkswagen, you guessed right again. I have to pay for Haselwood's negligence. The General manager told me that I had to pay for all repairs if I wanted my car back. The General manager took 3 months to call me. I am sure his serviceman told him that "I" was the cause of the water damage to my engine. I asked if the last service guy was contacted. That made the new service guy scream at me over the phone. If you wanted to get the full truth, seems to me that you would contact the last service guy who put fans in my back seat of my car to dry my floor. If the General Manager took his job seriously , he would get all the story not pieces of it from the new service guy that took over.

We're very sorry for the problems that you experienced.

Living in the Pacific NW, plugged sunroof drain vents are a common problem, especially in the fall with the pine needles dropping. We see several cars come in around that time with leaking sunroofs, in fact I experienced that with my own car.

At the first sign of water leaking from your sunroof, I suggest you clean the pine needles out of the drain tubes and then it will drain properly. It's a very easy procedure and there's even instructions in your owners manual on how to do it.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you in the future.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I am accepting this explanation. I pushed the wrong button.. This complaint was made one year ago. Since that time the

manager of the Volkswagen company in Bremerton took care of me. I apologize for not deleting the complaint a long time

ago. Please do not keep this complaint in the Revdex.com records. Volkswagen in Bremerton took care of my car several months

ago. Thank you Volkswagen for fixing my car. (smile)

Sincerely

I brought my VW in several months ago. I paid for my first door latch then. Today I was told that it is required to buy one more latch. It was also recommended to me that I buy two more door latches for the rear doors, today.
I can not afford a new Volkswagen because I keep bringing my car in for repairs every 6 months.
I asked the repairman to uninstall the car alarm system. Instead, I was told that if I disconnected the alarm system, other systems will shut down. Are consumers scapegoats for manufacturing mishaps? I wanted the fuse to be disconnected because I am paying a fortune for sensor detectors. There is nothing wrong with the door latches. There is only something wrong with the sensor detectors in the alarm system. If the alarm system does not like the way a door sits in the latch, it goes off.
Sooooo, I have to pay for an alarm system that malfunctions.
Also, several months ago , Lars who use to work there , told me that my carpet floors was covered in water. Instead of doing a diagnostic to see where the water is coming from, Lars just took fans and dried out the carpet.
According to Brett, that was an ill advised decision by Lars. Now my car might have holes in the floor due to rot and rust from water. I might have to replace my entire floor board and replace my carpets because of mildew. AND there is a mildew smell in my car. Because of misinformation from one of your past advisors, my car on the passenger side might have to be replaced. If Lars would have fixed the leak from my sun roof several months ago, I would not have to have my seats pulled out and find holes in my floor. And Brett let me know right away.....Its going to be very expensive. Thanks Haselwood for causing a Navy Veteran to pay more money that we need for rent.

When purchasing my vehicle I was informed I could not finance without purchase of a maintenance plan. I purchased the only one offered to me which spanned for 5 years against my 4 year lease. When making the purchase I addressed the length of the agreements and was informed I could be refunded what I did not use in terms of oil changes. Haselwood was gracious enough to offer 1st maintenance free of charge. I'm now reaching the second half of my lease term and have not used the service plan yet. I also completed my service in the Navy and am in the near future going back to my home of record which is California. I asked if I could cancel the plan and was told yes. I showed up to the dealer and was denied my refund and turned away. I called corporate Volkwagen of America and after about a week of ignoring the corporate inquiry I was promoted to go back to the dealership and talk to the Finance Coordinator. When I spoke to him he denied my refund and said there's no more he could do as the maintenance agreement is not handled by Haselwood but a third-party and it would be about impossible to reach out to them. I reviewed my agreement with Haselwood over the maintenance plan and when I read that the lienholder may cancel the agreement I gave VW Credit a call (my leaseholder). They explained that they can inquire but the actual party able to cancel it is Haselwood. My complaint is about being bullied into accepting another charge not fulfilled (first charge I had definitive evidence of failure to fulfill).

We normally do not cancel our Prepaid Maintenance packages but under the circumstances with the customer having not used the plan and is moving out of the are we will issue a refund that will go to the leasing company Volkswagen Credit. Mr. has been notified of our decision
