Mr. [redacted],Brought his vehicle in for the repairs and claimed other damage, but would not provide us with the insurance company estimate.  This is something we have to have.  We called the insurance to get a copy of the estimate.  (calling the insurance company is an everyday fact of...

doing business)  The insurance company gave HBS the estimate and we proceeded with repairs of the original claim.  Mr. [redacted] signed an authorization of repair and we have this on file.  The original estimate was for $947.13.  Mr. [redacted] cashed this check.  He then brought the car in for repairs and informed us of the other damage.This damage was denied by the insurance company due to it being worn out, not wreck related.  The damage from the accident was repaired.  The damage NOT from the accident was NOT repaired.  As for the taillamp.  Parts do break during disassembly/assembly.  The insurance company and anyone that has ever taken anything apart and put it back together should have the common sense to realize this.  The insurance company agreed to pay for this part at COST.  Which hasn’t happened as of 11/30/2017 at 9:30am.  In short, I believe Mr. [redacted] received the insurance check, CASHED it, thought he could make some additional money from the insurance company so he brought it in to my shop claiming other damage.  The insurance company advised upon sending the estimate, that he would not provide, to proceed with repairs if we had written authorization from the owner, which we have.  Mr. [redacted] received $947.13 for the repairs that only cost him $700.  From my math he made $247.13 to put in his pocket.[redacted]Harrison Body Shop
