To Whom it may concern:Customer was excited to purchase materials for the Scuba course and was informed of all the costs prior to purchasing the materials, to that point the customer would not have knowledge of extra costs of getting SCuba Certified which is at the heart of the matterCustomer made
no opposition to the purchase and freely used his credit card to secure the purchaseStore policy which is posted on the wall behind the register is "no refunds"Consumer goods are judged to be used and are not returnable once they leave the premisePart of this gear (scuba mask) is personal gear and comes in close Cotact with the face and also appeared used at the said time of return nearly hours after purchase and as a result no refund could be given as the store would need to absorb a loss as the gear cannot simply be put back on the shelf in a used State and sold as new againResolution was offered to the CustomerThe resolution which the customer refused took several forms, partial future payments waived (S100) of the Sfor additional open water feesCustomer was only dissatisfied when his girlfriend became irrational over the purchase and he did not have an easy way of resolving this conflict with his girlfriendMy store even offered to take payments on the discounted future open water certification fees in the amount of $per monthCustomer refused the solution and I was told by the customers girlfriend who seems to be driving the satisfaction of the transaction at this point that she wanted to do her certifications in mexico for much cheaper priceWe have been in business for Several years now and have never had such a rude, and dishonest customer in spite of the fact that we offered Several solutions to the problem as it was presented to us via the original purchaserAs a business entity we have never had any complaints against us and stand behind the quality of our gear, training and shop policy to not allow personal gear to be returned once it has left the premises.Please feel free to call me with any other issues regarding this matter.***Thank you,Ron W
