Review: Would like to file a complaint for the customer service I received from the cashier named [redacted] at this Harris Teeter on 6/4/13, I left the store feeling humiliated, discriminated,angry and a false accusation against me saying I'm dishonest. I shopped with my boyfriend and my two children that night and I was helped by [redacted] at checkout. My boyfriend first checked out his groceries with his own VIC card and paid with his own credit card. Then I gave [redacted] my phone # associated with my VIC card for my items and [redacted] said "you know we have 20 coupons limit per day per household right?" I responded with "yes and I'm paying these with my own VIC card". Then she kept reminding me it's per household per day and I calmly told her we are TWO SEPARATE households and I could show her our driver licenses for proof. Without looking at the licenses we fetched out for her, she called a manager immediately. While we waited for the manager she made a comment saying " don't tell me you both are not the parents of those children". I told her "yes we are, but that doesn't mean we are the same household". I was getting furious about her unacceptable remark. Since when a man and a woman shopping together has to be married? since when a man and a woman with kids have to be married and living together? Later a male manager came over and I explained the situation to him AND showed [redacted] and him our driver's licenses for proof. He later let me to proceed with my checkout. While pushing my cart toward me after I paid, [redacted] said "please try to be honest next time" in front of other customers behind me and next to me. after shopping with 2 kids and spent more than 30 minutes at the checkout, I was tired and too angry to make a scene and hold up the line. Not only I felt I was being discriminated by her regarding the life style I chose with my boyfriend, I was humiliated by all the things she had said and done to me and my boyfriend at the store in front of other customers. and she had falsely accused me for dishonestDesired Settlement: Harris Teeter is a high end and high quality supermarket and is known for clean stores, superior customer service, and highest quality products. But the service I received did not live up to its motto and it's completely UNACCEPTABLE and DISAPPOINTING. This is not how you do business and certainly not how you handle customers, especially those who have been loyal to you for years.I'm kindly request to have an explanation for the services I received and possibly, an written apology from [redacted]
