*** *** purchased a model *** *** trimmer from our company on 04/26/He returned to our store on 05/19/stating that it would not runUpon examination, we determined that the fuel was contaminated with a power residue, or sawdustWe drained and flushed the tankWe put fresh fuel in
the tank, started the trimmer and it ran properlyDue to the fuel being contaminated this was not a warranty type claimWe could have charged *** *** *or the repair but we fixed it without charge.Copies of the Repair/Service Order and STIHL Satisfaction Guarantee Program are included.We feel that we were more than fair by repairing *** *** trimmer and did not charge him for the non-warranty repair

Actually there was a dollar charge for there alleged repairI was told it had the wrong spark plug in it, nothing about gas or the other things listed in the answering letterI am unable to locate the receipt, but that don't matterI will absorb the cost of a faulty weedeater and move onI will also steer clear of that establishment, and advise everyone I know to do the same.
