I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The attached statement provided by Hardesty was for the move from our home in Carmel to Storage.  He did not provide the statement for the move from storage to our new home in Knightstown which contains no limiting liability language.  The  items were still damaged while in their custody.

I am writing regarding case ID [redacted].  My name is Rickie C[redacted] and I am the owner of Hardesty Moving and Storage.
Mr. [redacted] contracted Hardesty Moving and Storage to move him from his home in Carmel, Indiana to our storage facility in Muncie, Indiana on June 15th, 2016.  Mr....

[redacted] did not call us to schedule his move until June 13th, 2016.  This is a very unusual for a move of his magnitude.Hardesty did pick his furniture and boxes up and bring them to our warehouse for storage.  Mrs. [redacted] packed all of the boxes himself.  Hardesty did not box any of his belongings.  You can only imagine how rushed the boxing would be if he had to pack and move a whole house in two days.
Boxes that are packed by owner (pbo) are not insured at all by Hardesty.  We have absolutely no way to know what is in the box or how it is packed.
I am forwarding you the bill of lading (bol) thta is signed by Mr. [redacted].  It states tht furniture that is damaged is insured at $.60 per pound with a $500 deductible.  I did notice that a laminate table was indeed damaged when I was loading from our warehouse.  I would be happy to discuss the cost of repair on that item.
If all else fails, my insurance company if [redacted] and my contact is [redacted].  Her direct line is [redacted].  She is aware of this claim and also has a copy of the bill of lading.
Hardesty Moving and Storage has been in business since 1920 and we take our customers and their concerns very seriously.
