Extremely poor workmanshipWe hired 'Harbor Remodeling and Home Repair' to install a new shower base, shower doors, 12" floor tiles & a few wall tiles in a very small master bathroomBefore the job the owner Chris was very convincing that he was very detail oriented and that quality work was his main priority, unfortunately that was not the case at allThe shower base creaks when standing in it, the floor & wall tiles are VERY uneven (even though he installed a new sub floor), inside the shower he left many voids in the caulk & grout where if not discovered and fixed by the homeowner would have done a great deal of water damage to the room below the bathroomAlso, the new shower doors that he installed leaked in several places which also had to be completely removed and re-installed correctly by the homeowner which was no easy task due to the sloppy use of caulk by the contractor which was globbed all over the nickel plated frame, walls, glass, shower base, etcI wish I knew then what I know now before hiring this contractorDo yourself a favor and do your research on this contractor so you don't make the same mistake we did
Extremely poor workmanship. We hired 'Harbor Remodeling and Home Repair' to install a new shower base, shower doors, 12" floor tiles & a few wall tiles in a very small master bathroom. Before the job the owner Chris was very convincing that he was very detail oriented and that quality work was his main priority, unfortunately that was not the case at all. The shower base creaks when standing in it, the floor & wall tiles are VERY uneven (even though he installed a new sub floor), inside the shower he left many voids in the caulk & grout where if not discovered and fixed by the homeowner would have done a great deal of water damage to the room below the bathroom. Also, the new shower doors that he installed leaked in several places which also had to be completely removed and re-installed correctly by the homeowner which was no easy task due to the sloppy use of caulk by the contractor which was globbed all over the nickel plated frame, walls, glass, shower base, etc. I wish I knew then what I know now before hiring this contractor. Do yourself a favor and do your research on this contractor so you don't make the same mistake we did.
