The Air Conditioning has gone out 6 times in the past two months for a period of 2 -3 days each time. My office temperature reaches 88+ degrees during the day. Several attempts to restore the air conditioning, only seems to last a few days before it fails again. I have lost many days of work since it is unsafe and unhealthy to be under those conditions. I have been promised many times by management that the repairs would be made, but it seems only temporary short term fixes are being addressed. I like the office, but I don't want to die of a heat stroke if this continues.
Repair Either permanently repair the air conditioning or relocate me, at their expense, to an office where there is a stable, safe and healthy working environment.
I am truly sorry that we have had any HVAC issues the this location. According to our records there have only been 3 service calls for the HVAC unit servicing this Tenant's space since January 2019 (I did not review prior this January). According to my service log the first two instances resulted in our company contacting our HVAC contractor, who was on site within 1 business day and scheduled immediate repairs, which were completed by the following business day. The 3rd HVAC service call, unfortunately, was for an extended period of time because the unit needed to be replaced. (The process of replacing this unit involved ordering a custom "curb adapter", the building of a 15 Ton HVAC Unit, ordering a crane and scheduling an install). When we discovered that the unit was beyond repair we provided each tenant with fans for their office and installed multiple portable Air Conditioners in an attempt to provide the Tenant with a comfortable climate. While this did not create an ideal climate, we do feel that we made every effort to provide supplemental air conditioning. With the portable A/C units operating, the thermostat did not read past 77 degrees during Building Operating hours. In instances such as this, repair is out of our hands in the hands of the HVAC Service Professionals. As of the day & time of this response, the HVAC unit servicing the Tenant has been replaced and is fully operational. This issue has been resolved.
