Review: I hired Happy Home Heating, located at [redacted]., to install a new HVAC unit. As per the contract, this included sealing the duct work, removal of old unit, and thermostat installation. [redacted], [redacted] and service installer, was paid $6,400 October [redacted] and another $300 for additional ductwork, on the 10/[redacted] However, one of the room ducts was not sealed, which leaves a room un-heated. [redacted] told me he would return with a part and complete the duct seal. I called numerous times but did not receive a return call. As of this date, the work is still not completed.
In the beginning of the AC cooling season, 7/*, I turned on the newly installed HVAC unit, and the air-conditioning did not work. After numerous calls, I did receive a call back. On July [redacted], I was told by [redacted] that the technician [redacted] was at my home at 3:00a.m., and he determined that the HVAC unit needed a part that has been ordered. Since then, I called twice 7/** and 7/** for a follow-up and have not received a call back.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the unit repaired and room duct sealed.

Review: My company purchased a roof AC unit from the company. After many missed deadlines and false statements regarding the order and gaining a permit, they finally installed the unit. We gave them a check for the remaining amount, $3,688 on July **, 2015. They took the check and ran it as an ACH transaction, which we did not authorize ... then they cashed the actual check ... so that $7,376 was deducted from my bank account; they were paid twice. My office manager and I have called them on numerous occasions; it is now October and they have not resolved it yet. I am not sure we've ever called and had someone actually answer the phone; I know they have never answered when I called. Sometimes they don't return the phone message. My office manager has spent a lot of time on the phone attempting to resolve this. I spent a very long time on the phone with an employee who seemed very helpful in wanting to resolve this; he pleaded with me to just give him two days; that was over a month ago. In spite of my repeated requests, he would not tell me who owns the company. I cannot find anywhere who owns the company. They claim an office in Mahwah but they would not give me an address. To date, I do not have my money.Desired Settlement: I'd like the return of the $3,688 that was taken from my bank account over the amount owed.
