To the Revdex.com,
I,
[redacted], the owner of Happy Hands Corporation had leased my business
to [redacted] Corporation starting from February 27th 2013. [redacted] Corporation could not keep up with the lease which
forced me to take action. I was then
forced to order them to vacate the premises on Sunday April 28th. Their ticket writer of the time had managed
to steal wash books which are worth $120.00 and up. He then went ahead and sold these wash books
to customers for only $20.00. The
employees that saw what was occurring later informed us on what was taking
place. When we took over our business
again, we noticed customers coming in with these wash books that did not have
the appropriate stamp and receipt that is given at the time of a regular
purchase. We always give our customers a
special stamp and receipt at their purchase of a wash book. Many customers, including Mr. [redacted], had
purchased the $20.00 wash books. It is
unheard of for any car wash to sell their $120.00 and up wash books for only
$20.00.
We
later continued by informing our customers that the wash books they had
purchased were indeed stolen. We as a
car wash still strive to meet our customers’ needs and accommodate to any
necessary situation, so we offered them a couple of free rainbow washes in
order to make up for the money they wasted on the stolen wash books. Mr. [redacted]
is clearly lying when he claims to have paid Happy Hands the full $120.00 for
his wash book. If he legitimately
purchased the book for that price, then he would have the appropriate stamp and
receipt to accompany his wash book as proof.
He had made the purchase of the stolen wash book on April of 2013 and
not on May 4, as stated on his complaint. During this time I was already back
in control of my business and notified of what was taking place. When we sell a wash book we have a book of
records of all the wash books we sell with names, serial numbers and
dates. Mr. [redacted]’s wash book is nowhere
in these records.
All
the customers who had purchased the stolen wash books admitted into purchasing
them from the ticket writer for only $20.00 except for Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted]
claims that someone had given him the wash book as a gift. I ask that you please take all of these
factors into consideration and ask that Mr. [redacted] provide your office with a
receipt as a proof of purchase. Please
see attached picture of wash book customer log and wash book with appropriate
stamp. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Consumer
