Handyman of NY

Review: I purchased handyman services from this company through [redacted] for a ceiling installation and my appointment was confirmed for 8-11am today. No one showed up so I looked up the number of the company and reached the technician. He told me he was somewhere else doing a job. I expressed that I felt someone should have called to say they would be late. He said he usually calls when he's an hour away. I said, "but my appointmentt was for 8-11 and I took time off of work, someone should have called me." He said, "I couldn't call, I was working in a basement." I responded, "I don't think that's a good excuse, it"s bad customer service." He angrily told me I could cancel the appointment. I said, "I don't want to, I took time off of work to have this done, I just want to know when I can expect you." He hung up on me. 45 minutes later, I called back to try to determine if he was coming.he hung up on me but I thought the call dropped do I called back. He shouted, "stop calling this number." I have already contacted [redacted] to report him but because this individual does business with New York residents outside of [redacted] I felt I needed to register a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like it made public that this individual/company is unprofessional, was unnecessarily rude to me as a client, did not show up to do the work, and should not be trusted by consumers.
