Handy Andy Hawaii (HAH) has poor customer service, does not meet their deadlines and fails to resolve discrepancies as discussed below:
1. On Sep 5, scheduled appointment for an estimator to come on Sep 8 because I wanted the job completed by Sep 14. I requested a callback letting me know if that date could be accommodated. Received no callback. On Sep 8, the estimator tried to reschedule and ended up being one hour late.
3. Estimator promised to have an estimate sent via email by Sep 10, however it was sent on Sep 14 and was missing a lot of items discussed during our walk-through.
4. Oct 10-17, HAH sent 2 contractors to paint the interior of the house (white), remove/install laminate, remove/install molding, install new closet door, fix 2 electrical outlets, change out door knobs, and install bath fixtures. I checked house on Oct 15 and noticed the the walls of the kitchen and dining area were painted brown. The company manager, Dennis, was notified and came to the house. I discussed with Dennis I did not approve brown (everything was supposed to be white) and requested new workers. Dennis allowed current workers to continue working on the house and assured me everything would be resolved.
5. On October 18, I checked the "completed" work and was not satisfied: painting was done poorly (paint spatter and runs everywhere, not all molding was painted, painter's tape was left and painted over, painted over gecko poop, etc.), they did not remove the old laminate and cut the new laminate crooked, did not remove old caulking prior installing new fixtures, damaged my property (cracked light fixtures, chipped sink (big), cracked light switch cover), took numerous owner's belongings (light covers, owner's exterior paint and supplies, entry mats, tarp, the list goes on), and disposed of old shower fixture in my toilet tank. Dennis has been contacted 3 times and always apologizes, but does not have a set schedule for workers to correct these problems.
