Hammond Auto in Mauston Wisaved my summer trip. My u-joints were going out on my truck during our trip to the dells. I called all around and stopped into several businesses but they wouldn't even see me for days. I looked up auto repair businesses in the next town north which was Mauston. Hammond Auto was the first on my list so I called them. They said they were booked up but said that they would squeeze me in due to our situation. We crawled into town and found the station as was directed. There was a vehicle on every lift andd several in the parking lot. I had my doubts if we were going to get squeezed in. The owner was working on vehicles and checking people in. He quoted me a price and got my key from me. He directed my to several parks to bring the kids to to play while we waited. We came back two hours later and the vehicle was done. The price was very close to the quote and the truck has never ran so good. I would rate them a solid A for timely, honest and affordable service.

We started taking our vehicles there this year due to a co-worker's recommendation. Wonderful service, great prices, highly recommend.
