I live in government-subsidized housing, ***, along with my wife and two small children. When I went to sign the packet of information which confirms my employer, my social security number (for myself and my family members), income to determine my rent, I noticed that there were errors in the information, particularly my social number. The office manager has a copy of my social security card. When questioned the manager told my wife not to worry about it, just to sign it and turn it in. We were threatened that if we didn't sign the document as is, that we would be charged higher rent. The manager often uses the threat of eviction for very simple things such as trash being left out for pick up.
