What the business leaves out is that I contacted them the first week of Nov with the correct address. I can also provide documentation from my bank where I was charged for their 1st check that was rejected by their bank. My bank charged me a ten dollar fee for charge backs for the 1st check sent to me. At this point I'm done and they will not have my business or recommendations to friends for their business. Thank you.
Customer called regarding a Gap refund in early November. We processed the Gap cancellation and sent the customer a refund check on 12/04/14. The check was sent to the original address that was on the Gap policy we had on file for the customer. The customer had moved. Customer called to indicate she had not received the check., so we immediately reissued the check to her new address on 12/16/14, and Ms. [redacted] called the customer and left her a message indicating that we were replacing the check and that we voided the first check that had gone to her old address. Also, at some point on or before 12/16/14 she finally received the original check (which I am assuming had been forwarded by the USPS). This original check was deposited by the customer and it cleared our bank on 12/16/14. That original check was not rejected by our bank. The bank notified us of the exception, and we authorized the bank to pay that original check since the customer had already deposited it.
Review: I purchased a bike from this business in 09/13 with a 5 yr. loan. With this loan I purchased GAP insurance. The bike was paid off in 10/14 and the business was notified of this by the beginning of 11/14. I have made several calls to a Ms. [redacted] who says she must contact a Ms. [redacted] about my insurance refund. For the last 6 weeks I have been given the run around about where the refund check is and the answer is usually I will have by the end of the weekend. I have had to repeatedly call Ms. [redacted] because of her not returning my call. This is not the way to do business. This is not my first time to receive a refund check from a dealership but it is the first time to have such a hard time being refunded.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund check for the unused proportion of the insurance I purchased for the life of the loan minimum. At this point I feel I am due a full purchase price of the insurance for the inconvenience they have caused me and how this matter has been handled.

Regards,
Although they did finally reimburse me the first check they sent they canceled the check after I had already deposited the check which in turn cost me additional fees with the bank. I had told the company not to reissue the check due to I finally received it and they did anyway. So I'm still unsatisfied with the results and will not do business with this company in the future.
