Halloween Adventure

Review: October ** around 4pm I purchased a $50 costume from Halloween Adventure; it contained a bandana, a vest, and a coat. I arrived home at 5pm and removed the costume from its package to find that all buttons on the vest had broken off of the costume. For the price paid the costume was very cheap (alright, whatever), but isn't just cheap in material, but craftsmanship (this is an issue). It's still before Halloween, and it's the same datemail of purchase, however I was told I cannot get a refund, only an exchange. I do not wish to exchange a shotty product for another shotty project, I just wish for my money back ($49.99 of the $140.54 was spent on this cheap product) and never set foot in their business again.Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card in return for the broken product.

Review: I paid for a [redacted] for $40 off of my order. Per instructions on [redacted], I went to the website for Halloween Adventures and placed an order in the shopping cart. When I tried to redeem the [redacted] for $40 the website stated I had to have $40 in products to be able to redeem the [redacted]. I them continued shopping and added another item to the shopping cart to make sure the total was over $40 and asked to complete order. The screen then gave me a message that there was an error on the order. I immediately called Halloween Adventures at ###-###-#### and spoke to [redacted]. She stated one of the items was show but did not get added to the order for some reason. She worked on it then verified that I had 3 items shipping economy and my total after the [redacted] will be $11.16. around 12:53 central time I received 2 confirmation email from Halloween Adventured. One email showed 2 ordered items with 3-day UPS shipping for a total of $51.32 that would be charged to my debit card with the $40 [redacted] applied. The second email confirmed an orde for 3 items shipping economy for a total of $51.15 with no $40 [redacted] discount applied that will be charges to my debit card also. I did not place 2 seperate orders. When I called bak and spoke to [redacted] she said there was nothign that could be done...that both orders will be debited from my bank account and I would have to return one package for a full refund once I receive it. Neither order has been shipped. She said she couldn't help me.Desired Settlement: Do not charge my bank account for an order I did not place. The representative at Halloween Adventures made the mistake of setting up 2 seperate orders not me. They should fix the mistake before my bank account is effected.
