Review: I purchased a bay window from Hallmark. 2 of the 3 windows that comprise the bay window have black spacers (?) that are coming out of the windows. I have called Hallmark 3 times over the last 3 weeks and no one from customer service will return a phone call. Additionally, my next door neighbor, purchased several windows from Hallmark and they will not return her phone calls either. She has a few windows from Hallmark that will not open. All the windows are under warranty.Desired Settlement: I don't know if the windows can be repaired or if they need to be replaced.

Response:
[redacted]
I am writing to reply to the complaint recently received
from a customer [redacted] regarding the [redacted] vinyl replacement window
installed in June of 2008. I have read
the concerns and hope to help with the resolve the best I can. A service warranty request was sent to [redacted]
to resolve. Unfortunately, [redacted] has
gone out of business and is no longer offering warranty to their products. Please see the below link for how they are
offering warranty to the [redacted] product line.
The service issue of the
spacer failure between the glass is a result of a product failure and would
typically be covered under a manufacturer warranty. I don’t believe the complaint is warranted
but would like to help find resolve for the customer. The customer had previously had [redacted]
windows installed in home and wanted the same brand. From what I understand, parts have an
extremely limited availability.
We look forward to hearing back and helping our customer
find a solution to the service issue.
Please consider expunging the complaint from our record, the manufacturers
being out of business and not offering warranty is out of our control. I would be more than happy to help the [redacted]
find a resolve to their glass issue.
Regards,
Hallmark Windows and Siding, LLC

Review: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Review: Hallmark Windows and Siding did not finish the job of installing our gutters. They left out pieces of the gutter which allowed birds to build nests in our gutters, and now the rain water to not completely filtering down through the system.Desired Settlement: Hallmark Windows and Siding needs to set up a followup appointment while we are home to complete the gutters that we paid for in full, and have a lifetime warranty on.

Response:
To Revdex.com and [redacted],
Review: Hallmark installed windows at my house in 2008. Two of the windows are not supported properly and are sagging. The windows are difficult to open and close and are no longer square because of the lack of support. Additionally, a sliding glass door that Hallmark installed is sagging as well. Multiple phone calls to Hallmark over several years have gone unanswered and the problem has only gotten worse.Desired Settlement: Fix sliding glass door so that it no longer sags. Fix kitchen and master bedroom windows so that they are adequately supported and work properly. The windows and sliding glass door are fine, it is their installation that is flawed.

The installation was
preformed according to the installation instructions provided by [redacted]. The service issue of sagging sashes is a
result of a product failure and would typically be covered under a manufacturer
warranty. I don’t believe the complaint
is warranted but would like to help find resolve for the customer. If the customer would like to expunge and
withdraw the complaint, I would be happy to send out a service tech to help
find some solution to fix their problem.
From what I understand, parts have an extremely limited
availability. We may be able to do a
repair that exceeds the manufacturers recommended installation practices to
help with the issue.
We look forward to hearing back and helping our customer
find a solution to the service issue.
